Driver opens fire at California intersection

The driver’s DVR captured the incident that happened at an intersection in East Auckland.

The video shows the driver approaching the crossroad. The green light is on for him, but a man in a white pickup truck runs a red light and pulls out onto the road. The horn is heard, then the pickup trucker blocks the crossroad, gets out of the vehicle, points a gun at the other driver, and opens fire on a passing car.

“The first thing I thought, wow, this is the Wild West!” – said the man on whose video recorder the video was filmed.

As a result of the incident, no one was injured, but when the victim tried to write a statement to the police, they did not even listen to him.

“Obviously they have a way of doing business here that I’m not used to,” he said. I called them two, three times. I thought they would need that kind of information about those who might harm others.”

“At first I thought it was his fist, but when he got out of the car, I realized that it wasn’t even a hammer!” the victim said.

The man was concerned about the reaction of the police, because, according to him, he could die: “You must be joking! You know what I mean and I’m just trying to do my civic duty and report this guy! As I should do, this process also seemed absurd to me.

The victim recommends that all drivers install video recorders in order to have evidence in the event of such attack.
