Became known details of horrific Pennsylvania crash

The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) released details of an accident that caused a truck to fall off an overpass in Tremont Township a few days ago.

The accident occurred on the evening of Friday, March 3, on I-81 southbound, near exit 104 in Tremont Township. Police say the driver of the SUV “lost control” and crashed into the truck, causing it to fall off the Mollystown Road bridge.

Despite heavy damage to the truck, the Ravine Fire Company reported that the truck passengers managed to get out of the vehicle.

Both passengers of the truck were not injured. Three people from the SUV were hospitalized. Firefighters rated their injuries as minor.

According to WFMZ, the driver of the SUV has been prosecuted.
