Where is the most truck parking in America?

May 4, 20230

The Trucker Path app conducted a survey of its users to find out which regions have the best parking situation.

When a truck driver arrives at one of Trucker Path’s truck stops, he needs to answer the following question: is there available parking place, a few places, or none at all.

Using this data, Trucker Path determines which region has the highest “no parking space” percentage.

The list below includes truck stops or rest areas where there is always the available place for the truck:

• Northeast – 215 TA Milesburg at 875 N. Eagle Valley Road, Milesburg, PA.

• Southeast – Discount Truck Parking, 7138 Narcoossee Road, Orlando, Florida.

• Midwest Recreation Area at 2218 County Road 62, Auburn, Indiana.

• South Central – Gateway Travel Plaza, 1480 W. Fwy Blvd. S., Vidor, Texas.

• Central Region – TA Beto Junction 252 at 2775 75, Lebo, Kansas.

• West – Petro Wells 392 at 1440 Sixth Street, Wells, Nevada.

25% of drivers did not find parking in the Southeast region.

21% of drivers failed in the Northeast.

In the Midwest there are lots of truck parking places for truckers – in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio and Wisconsin.

Trucker Path released the report as the federal government is working on a bill that would increase the number of truck parking spaces across the country.
