A dust storm caused an accident on I-55 in Illinois
A section of I-55 from Springfield was closed in Illinois due to a severe dust storm.
Dozens of cars, including trucks, were involved in the accident. Illinois State Police (ISP) reported that I-55 is closed in both directions from 52 to 80 mile marker.
Troopers are working on a major crash on both southbound and northbound I-55 between 63 and 80 mile marker .
Dozens of wrecked cars can be seen on footage taken from the scene of the accident.
There is no information on the number of vehicles and casualties.
