Texas police suspend truck driver after finding beer
The Grapevine Police Department (GPD) suspended the truck driver after police found several cans of beer during a check.
On July 12, a police officer found “several cans of beer” while checking a commercial vehicle in the Grapevine, Texas area.
The driver was suspended from work for 24 hours.
“Our employees are working hard to make the roads as safe as possible. That is why our commercial vehicle officer ensures the safe movement of trucks,” the GPD said.
This month, the Iowa State Patrol’s Commercial Vehicle Unit shared a similar message on social media after it found beer and other alcohol in a commercial vehicle.
