State Route 18 closed due to pickup truck and semi-trailer accident
The accident occurred on November 9 morning on State Route 18 near Hobart, Washington.
Washington State Police said the collision occurred when a pickup truck traveling on WB 18 crossed the EB lanes and hit a truck.
The driver of the pickup truck was brought in with minor injuries and is in custody on suspicion of drunk driving.
Shortly after the eastbound pickup vs. semi-trailer collision, SR 18 reported a second collision involving two semi-trailers on SR 18 westbound, west of Tiger Summit.
As a result, all lanes of traffic are blocked.
The WSP urges drivers to avoid the area until the road is cleared.
