In South Dakota trucks are sliding en masse into a ditch

April 4, 20230

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is warning drivers to be careful as a blizzard has made travel dangerous.

As of Tuesday morning, many trucks and vehicles were stuck on I-29 between the Summit and the North Dakota border due to poor road visibility.

The SDHP asks drivers to slow down, buckle up and be super careful if the route is via I-29.

Be sure to check SD511 for up-to-date travel information from the South Dakota Department of Transportation.
