The incident took place on August 1 in Warren County, North Carolina, near the Virginia state line.

The NC Highway Patrol reported a truck carrying yogurt colliding with another truck carrying construction materials. One was moving at 70 mph when it crashed into the back of another moving at 60 mph.

Both truck drivers managed to leave their cabs before the first truck caught fire. Both vehicles burned down as a result of the fire.

Patrol is instructing drivers to bypass this stretch and take exit 233 (US 401 South) onto US 1 South and turn right onto Manson Drewry Road to merge onto I-85 southbound.
