#TrooperInATruck driver inspection begins in Wisconsin
The Wisconsin State Patrol (WSP), in partnership with the Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association (WMCA), carries out a #TrooperInATruck campaign focused on distracted driving.
Officers “will be on the lookout for dangerous, distracting driving behavior from a commercial vehicle perspective,” according to the WSP.
The campaign will run until July 15th.
In a Facebook post, WMCA wrote: “So proud of our road team captains for being part of Trooper in a Truck! This campaign is extremely important in preventing distractions while driving in Wisconsin.”
#TrooperInATruck coincides with the Commercial Vehicle Safety Administration Safe Driving Week, which also runs through July 16th.
Therefore, drivers should be especially careful driving through this state.
