New signs installed along highway exits in North Carolina
The North Carolina Department of Transportation has banned parking in some areas where many truck drivers park at the end of the day, citing safety concerns.
NCDOT is installing “No Parking” signs along many interstate highway on- and off-ramps.
In July, several people were killed when a bus crashed into three trucks parked at a rest area exit near I-70 in southern Illinois.
