Massive 100 truck crash in Wisconsin

About 100 vehicles including semi trucks were involved in an accident on I-94 in western Wisconsin.

Road icing is believed to be the cause of the pileup.

The accident began in the Oseo area on Thursday morning at the 96 mile mark. It is known that there was a fire in the middle of semi truck involved in the first accidents.

The Wisconsin State Patrol said that the morning freezing rain caused icing, that triggered the accident.

Officials were forced to close both directions of I-94 between Exit 88 East (Osseo) and Exit 115 West (Black River Falls).

According to the Jackson County Sheriff, Wisconsin, no one was injured or killed.
