In anticipation of its 60th anniversary, Oklahoma City-based company Love’s announced last week its ambitious plans for 2024.

These plans include expanding its network by opening 20-25 new stores and adding between 1,500 and 2,000 additional truck parking spaces.

As part of this initiative, Love’s also intends to modernize 35-40 of its older stores, as well as completely demolish and rebuild four of them. Additionally, over the course of the year, the company plans to expand its network of car washes, increasing their number to fourteen.

Furthermore, Love’s aims to strengthen its infrastructure by adding 10 new Speedco centers with a wide range of services near stops. This will be in addition to the recently launched Freightliner ExpressPoint network, which is already operational at 400 locations. The company also plans to develop a network of 50 repair stations and approximately 60 roadside emergency services.

“Six decades ago, Tom Love opened our first service station in Watonga, Oklahoma, and almost immediately started selling household items to make stopping in more convenient for customers,” said Shane Wharton, president of Love’s. “Today, as the only major travel stop that is still family owned and operated, we continue with his innovative spirit by adding new products and improving the experience to give customers more reasons to stop in.”
