In Kansas, one of the weigh stations is closed until the fall

The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) announced the closure of the weighing station, located in the southwestern part of the state.

The Seward County Weigh Station will be closed for several months for construction work. Work begins on April 15 and will last until mid-September 2023.

The closure of the weigh station is part of a construction project to expand lanes across the U.S. 54 in Seward County.
