Giant raptor causes car accident in Texas

On Thursday, there was a serious accident involving a huge reptile on one of the Texas highways.

A 300-pound alligator was hit by a passing vehicle in the middle of the road on Grand Parkway (SH-99) in East Montgomery County, Texas.

The accident occurred as the driver was driving easbound on the highway at 3:15 a.m. on May 6. The driver got damaged after hitting, while the alligator was killed. The driver’s vehicle was badly damaged.

 The Sheriff’s Office also posted pics of the alligator as it was hauled away the scene on the back of a trailer.

“Adding to the list of things not commonly seen while on patrol in Montgomery County, TX: A motor vehicle crash involving a 10-foot alligator,” posted Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in a Facebook page.
