CVSA releases truck driver inspection dates for 2024
The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) has released truck and traffic inspection dates for next year.
• International Roadcheck will take place from 14 to 16 May 2024. Roadcheck is a major traffic enforcement and education initiative. International Roadcheck is considered the most important commercial vehicle compliance program.
• Operation Safe Driver Week will take place from July 7 to July 13, 2024.
It is an annual week-long enforcement and education campaign aimed at combating unsafe driving by drivers of passenger and commercial vehicles.
• Brake Safety Week is scheduled for August 25–31, 2024.
During Brake Safety Week, commercial vehicle inspectors conduct brake system inspections (primarily Level IV inspections) on large trucks and buses throughout North America to identify brake problems.
• CVSA Brake Safety Day will be unannounced and could occur at any time within the next year.
