CHP calls drivers to test brake systems in radical way
This week, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) published a reminder to truck drivers about what can be when they don’t stop and check their brakes.
On March 29, CHP’s Gold Run division released photos of a truck that crashed due to brake failure. The driver probably wanted to avoid the brake check area and got into an unpleasant situation that almost led to fatal accident.
