What truckers can expect from International Roadcheck 2022

February 17, 20220

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) declared that this year during International Roadcheck special focus will be on following rules on roads.

International Roadcheck will take place from 17 till 19 May in Canada, Mexico and the US this year.

Each year, CVSA chooses a priority area for the 72 hour Roadcheck campaign. Last year, inspectors were focused on violations of working hours and lighting. This year the focus will be on wheels and everything related to them.

According to CVSA, violations with tires and wheels are ¼ of all vehicle violations.

“We want every vehicle on our roads to be in proper working condition for the driver`s safety and everyone on our roads,” said CVSA President Capt. John Broers of the South Dakota Highway Patrol.

International Roadcheck is a massive annual commercial vehicle inspection program that checks an average of 15 trucks or buses every minute in North America for 72 hours.
