Two truck stops temporarily closed in Pennsylvania

Two commercial vehicle stops are temporarily closed due to road repairs.

From June 13 to June 24, I-79 southbound and northbound truck stops near the Crawford-Erie County line are closed.

During the closure, work will be done on laying paving slabs on ramps and parking lots.

According to PennDOT, the pavement overhaul is part of a two-year project for an 11-mile stretch of road on I-79 in Crawford and Erie counties.

The renovation involves paving north and south lanes from mile 154 in Hayfield Township, Crawford County to mile 165. in Washington Township, Erie County and repairing 10 bridges.
