February 4, 20210

One of the tanker trucks exploded on Monday evening at the truck stop in Dallas Pike, West Virginia. Two people were injured.

At 8 p.m. the Ohio Country 911 Emergency Service received a message about a large fire. The emergency team arrived on the scene and saw the building engulfed in intense flames.

Lou Vargo, director of the Wheeling-Ohio County Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency, noticed that one of the tanker trucks caught fire while cleaning with chemicals.

The causes of the fire are unknown. Both workers were transported to Wheeling Hospital with burns. Their current condition is unclear.

The truck driver was not injured because he was outside at the explosion time.

Firefighters contained the fire but the building had been already destroyed.
