Turner Turnpike closed due to a major crash
Turner Turnpike is closed in both directions due to a major car crush.
The accident happened around 3 p.m. on February, 14, westbound on the turnpike not far from mile marker 141.
The Oklahoma City Fire Department said that eight vehicles, including four semi trucks, are involved in the accident. Two cars caught fire.
Officials said the westbound lane might be closed for a while. So, it is better to avoid this area or find another route due to extremely poor visibility.
According to the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, westbound traffic diverted to the Kickapoo Turnpike and eastbound traffic diverted to I-35.
