Truck Parking Act was positively amended
The US House of Representatives introduced a new objective in a bill that provides more parking for truck drivers.
Rep. Angie Craig, a co-sponsor of a bill that would make more parking spaces available at the state level, proposed an extensive highway bill.

Last month, Congress introduced the Truck Parking Safety Improvement Act, that would authorize $ 125 million for state transportation facilities that provide parking for trucks. The funds would be allocated for fiscal 2022 with a gradual funding increase through 2026.
The Transportation & Infrastructure Committee plans to introduce a highway bill later this month.
“It has become even more clear that communities across the country, both urban and rural, need transformational infrastructure investments to improve the lives of all Americans,” said the committee’s chairman, Rep. Peter DeFazio.
