Overturned semi-truck blocked a border crossing for long
On April 7, early in the morning a semi-truck overturned and crashed into a power pole, blocking the road to the Otay Mesa Port of Entry.
The solo-vehicle crash occurred at about 6:20 a.m. at the Otay Mesa intersection in San Diego, California. A semi-trailer carrying pecans when it lost control, damaged a power pole and overturned on the roadway.
The driver was not reportedly injured. The crews currently work to repair the pole, clear the debris and investigate the incident.
According to police Officer Dino Delimitros, the La Media Road and the truck crossing would be closed for an indefinite period.
