Love’s opens new truck stops in three states

On Thursday, truck stop chain Love’s Travel Stops opened new locations in three different states, adding 231 truck parking spaces to the company’s network.

Love’s new stops are located in Muscatine, Iowa; Patterson, California; and Normal, Illinois.

“There’s no better time to open three locations in one day than in December as professional drivers and four-wheel customers hit the highway during the holiday season,” said Shane Wharton, president of Love’s.

The new stop provides the following amenities:

Muscatine, Iowa

• More than 9,000 square feet
• Chester’s Chicken and Godfather’s Pizza (opening December 15)
• 29 truck parking spaces
• Five diesel bay
• Four showers
• Laundry facilities
• CAT scale

Patterson, California

• More than 12,000 square feet 
• Arby’s (opening December 15)
• 91 truck parking spaces
• Eight diesel bays
• Eight showers
• Laundry facilities
• CAT scale
• Speedco
• Dog park

Normal, Illinois

• More than 14,000 square feet
• Bojangles (opening December 15)
• 111 truck parking spaces.
• Nine diesel bays
• 10 showers
• Laundry facilities
• CAT scale
