In a White House farewell speech on Monday, First Lady Melania Trump thanked people of the trucking industry for their efforts to keep the country running during the COVID-19 crisis.

On Monday, January 18, Melania Trump posted a seven minute video to Twitter during which she gave thanks to front-line workers — including truck drivers — for their selfless efforts during the pandemic.

“As the world continues to confront the COVID-19 pandemic, I thank all of the nurses, doctors, healthcare professionals, manufacturing workers, truck drivers, and so many others who are working to save lives. We grieve for the families who have lost a loved one due to the pandemic. In the midst of hardship, we have seen the best of America shine through,” the First Lady said.
