The Ambassador Bridge was reopened after truckers` protest led to hours of shutdown.

On Monday at approximately 8:00 pm, a column of protesting drivers reached the Windsor-Detroit border, resulting in the closure of the Ambassador Bridge.

Traffic was diverted to the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel, after a large number of trucks involved in the Canadian convoy caused a heavy traffic jam in the area.

The demonstration moved to Interstate 75 in Detroit, a group was protesting against vaccination mandates.

At some point, the protesters told the media that they weren`t going to leave anytime soon.

However, as on Tuesday morning, traffic on the Ambassador Bridge towards the USA was opened, you could get there from the western entrance on Wyandotte Street.
