According to the American Trucking Association (ATA), there is an acute shortage of truck drivers in the United States. It is expected that by 2028 the volume of cargo transportation will rise by 2.3 %. That in turn will generate the employment in the US. As the American media writes, the trucking industry is growing and creating an ever-growing demand for new drivers.

That is why the truck drivers with particular categories of driver’s licenses and seniority outside the United States can immigrate to the United States with an EB-3 Visa.

The EB-3 Visa is classified as a US immigrant visa. It allows foreign workers with different skill levels to consider the United States as permanent residence (obtaining a Green Card). In addition, it allows working in the United States, free entry and exit from the United States, applying for a visa for the spouse and underaged children (under 21 years old).
