Company from Missouri changes the pay plan
Artur Express Inc. from Missouri presented a new Truckers’ Company Driver Pay Plan.
It is based on seven important criteria: technology, length of service, safety, driver habits, punctuality, experience and miles.
For each area the driver receives points, the sum of which determines his pay category: basic, professional or expert. The company wants to motivate truck drivers by giving updates on their scores every week.
All drivers begin at the “professional” level and their results are updated at the beginning of every quarter.
If a driver is trending in the expert area before the quarter is over, he may be promoted soon.
The more miles a driver have, the more points he can score.
According to the goal of the plan, the nurture of expert drivers will have positive effect on the prestige of the whole company.
