Diesel went up again! Drivers can`t remember such prices since 2014
The average price for diesel fuel in the country continues to grow. The EIA updated the cost information.
On Monday, diesel rated highly to 19,4 cents per gallon in the past two weeks and 26,5 cents in the past three. Currently the cost of a gallon is 1,283 USD more than it was in 2020.
The last time when the diesel costed the same was on November 10, 2014, it was $ 3,677 back then.
The EIA reports that the average cost of a gallon of diesel fuel rose in all 10 regions, with the highest price being 10,5 cents in California and the lowest 5,9 cents in the Rocky Mountain region.
Gas price also rose significantly at 5,5 cents a gallon to 3,322 USD. This is 1,172 USD more than the last year.
